Cursos PADI con Buceo El Bajón

Rescue Diver Course

The divers describe the PADI Rescue Diver course as the most challenging one, although is the most rewarding course for anyone that has ever done it. Why? Because you learn how to prevent and manage problems in the water and you become a diver more confident with your skills, knowing that you can help others if they need it. During the course, you will learn how to become a better partner in practicing problem resolutions techniques until it becomes second nature to you. Furthermore, the course is fun- but serious, although it allows a lot of laughs centered on the learning.

Who can do this course?

The PADI (Junior) Advanced Open Water Divers that are at least 12 years old and that have completed the Adventure Dive of Underwater Navigation, can inscribe themselves in the Rescue Diver Course. You’ll also need to have the Emergency First Response Primary training and the Secondary Care (RCP and First Aid) within the last 24 months. You can complete this training during the Rescue Diver course. Your instructor can also offer you the specialty diving PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider course at the same time.

You will use the basic equipment and you’ll need a pocket mask for practicing resuscitation in water. During the exercises, you’ll work with an oxygen unit, floats, marker buoys, and perhaps CPR manikins. Your PADI Instructor will explain to you the equipment that you’ll need and can suggest additional equipment like your own first aid kit, which will be useful in all your diving career.
