Muelle La Restinga (Night-Time)

MUELLE DE LA RESTINGA ( NOCTURNA)

A night-time immersion in which we can see from small crustaceans to large tablecloths. All the diving is developed at the shelter of the breakwaters of el Puerto de La Restinga, and only a heavy sea bottom can prevent diving. The bottom changes when you move and we start seeing them at a little height between the sand’s stains, but also with the prism base of the breakwaters and the rock slabs that are nearest from the white sand. Muttons and keepers make the most of the night for entering the dock to find leftovers of fishes thrown to the water by the fishermen, so it wouldn’t be bizarre to stumble with one of them. It’s also a great chance for surprising the big inherited lobsters walking out of their shelters and observing cichlids and other fishes while sleeping. The best of all, in my opinion, is the unbelievable quantity of small shrimps, crabs, and mollusks that appear overnight as if by magic.
