El Hierro

In an amphitheater form, Las Playas viewpoint is a balcony with views of a stunning landscape. It’s in the North of El Hierro and 20 minutes driving to Valverde. In the front, is the sea, where you can see a jagged bay and virgin with beaches washed by the raging Atlantic. A spectacle protected inside of a Biosphere Reserve of the Unesco of the island.

La Bonanza´s rock from the highest point.

From a viewpoint, there’s all the time in the world for discovering every corner of the landscape. From Las Playas’ viewpoint, you have to pay attention to seeing far away from the Parador de Turismo de El Hierro and the majestic rock of La Bonanza, sometimes you can even see Tenerife and La Gomera. If when you arrive it’s cloudy, the best thing to do is wait until the sky is clear. After being delighted with the views, the best is to approach San Andrés to taste the gastronomy from El Hierro.
